Don't Fit In

I've almost always felt like I've had a place to fit in, but very few occasions I've felt on my own. When I first started at this school, the long 3 years and two months ago, I knew nobody. I started in the Summer Bridge course that the middle school had to orient the new students on the ways that the school worked. I'd just left my elementary school with all my friends, and none of them were going to the school I was going to. I was fine with the classes, but I really didn't know anybody. The classes had little things to try and get to know each other, but I still felt like I had no friends there. Luckily, when I school year started I began speaking with people and I made plenty of friends, so it all worked out.
