Uno wasn't necessarily angry at Danny, but he was angry that Manny got injured and he wasn't able to do anything about it, so he used violence to compensate for his inability to help, and he focused it on the one person he could possibly blame. Maybe Uno doesn't have anybody he feels close to other than Manny, so when his brother gets injured he takes it more personally than if it was somebody else.
Uno was probably also irritated that Danny was starting to become the new master of baseball in town and he didn't want his legacy to be ruined. He hit Danny specifically so maybe he wouldn't get back on the plate and hit again, due to the scarring of the situation.
